An artist ChangHo You's new theme is the flow of time. In his work he's showing the buddistic view of the world that natuer is family with blood-related to each other, it flows in everlasting time without the beginning and the end. By the process of dropping, sprinkling, and repaining colours, ChangHo You expresses his idea: Everything seems to be forgotten and be gone, but with creation and destruction , it transforms naturally into a new image. The artist, ChangHo You has been trying to find the true beauty of Korean traditional art by analyzing the impression he got by seeing the shapes, landscapes with a modern technuque. He rather paints what he feels about what he sees than expresses what it acturally is. He thinks that nobody can acturally draw the greatness of nature, the beauties in objects. He thinks if accurateness is the matter, than we better just take a picture of it.
